Everything you need to know
Arriving by car
France has tolls. Don’t forget to calculate this into your budget. There are several toll calculators online. If you stay in an official Disney hotel, the parking is free. If not, parking at Disneyland Paris is around 30€ per day
Arriving by plane
You can take the TGV from Charles de Gaulle to Disneyland Paris. It takes about 10 minutes and cost about 17.50€. If you don’t like using the train, Disneyland Paris offers a shuttle for about 23€ per person.
Arriving by train
Disneyland Paris has its own train station. It’s easy to get there from Paris with the RER or the TGV from elsewhere. It’s about a 40 minutes ride with the RER A (red line) from the center of Paris.
Hotels
Disneyland Paris offers 6 official Disney hotels. 5 are within walking distance. When you book a Disney Hotel it’s pricier but it comes with tickets. In the hotels are (currently) Selfie spots with Disney character. Another advantage of a Disney Hotel is, you enjoy free parking and you get extra magic hours (entering the park before everyone).
Dinner
You can book your dinner 2 months in advance through the reservation hotline +33 1 60 30 40 50. Since it’s a french number international call rate applies. The easiest might be to just book dinner via the official Disneyland Paris app.
Download the official app
The Disneyland Paris app might be a needed little helper. You can book your dinner there, see all the show and parade times and see the meet and greet times as well as the current wait times.
One day might not be enough
Depending on what your priority is, one day might not be enough. When we visited Disneyland Paris for the first time off season, we went 2 days and we didn’t get to do everything we wanted to do. We weren’t able to watch shows or do meet & greets.
Requirements during Corona
Disneyland Paris currently requires you to be fully vaccinated, recovered in less than 6 months or tested within 72 hours (antigen or PCR). Download the French app “Tous anti covid” or show your international EU certificate. Additional you’re required to wear a mask throughout the entire park.
Check-in
Check in as soon as you arrive. After park closure the queue to check in is really long and might take an hour. Not the most relaxing thing after a long, exhausting day.
Be early
Often all the visitors arrive at the same time. This isn’t just stressful but also takes forever. There’s a line to get to the parking lot, one in front of the security check, one in front of the entrance. This isn’t the best start to a good Disney day.
PhotoPass+
If you want to capture all the beautiful moments with a character or just want your pictures taken by a photographer you might consider buying a PhotoPass+. It costs 74,99€ (as of November 2021) and is valid for 10 days.
Disney Premier Access
Since fast passes are history by now, Disneyland Paris offers now the Disney Premier Access. Unlike the other Disney Parks, you pay for each attraction individually . It only available for selected attraction and costs between 5€ and 15€ per person per ride.
